I like the off centered composition of this piece. The separation of the pictures allow an easier view of them as separate pictures. The Mimicked curve of the subjects also adds interest. The fact that the left picture looks like a new plant and the right picture looks like an older tree creates a story.

Find and post an example of a photographic diptych and write a short paragraph describing why you like it (or why you don't) and why you think the photographer chose to create the piece as a diptych.
